The Indy Far East Magazine “November 2023 edition” features inspiring stories of community leaders, initiatives, and developments in the Far Eastside, with a focus on positive change and overcoming challenges. The cover story highlights David Girton’s journey from the streets of Indianapolis to Wall Street success, showcasing his efforts in founding the Indiana Project to support minorities in finance. Our other articles focus on sustainable holiday practices, Eskenazi Health’s open enrollment assistance for health insurance, and stress management tips for the holiday season. The magazine celebrates the accomplishments of students like Veronica Lugo, a scholar-athlete excelling in sports and academics, and acknowledges Rachel Haynes for her teaching excellence.
